Do I need an account to bid?

Yes, you must register for a Champions Circle® NIL Shop account to bid on an item.

How do I place a bid?

Once you are logged into your Champions Circle® NIL Shop account, if you are viewing an auction item, you simply click the PLACE BID button, enter the maximum amount you’d like to bid, and hit submit. Your bid must meet the required minimum bid increment amounts.

What is a reserve? What happens if it is not met?

Select items may have a reserve price, which is the minimum amount the auction must reach for the item to be considered “SOLD.” If the reserve price is not met, the item is not sold, and no one is declared the winner. The item may be re-released or put back up for auction at a later date.

Can I cancel or change my bid?

If you are currently the high bidder, you can edit your max bid amount, but you cannot cancel a bid once it has been placed. Please bid confidently and be ready to pay at the conclusion of an auction you are bidding on.

Will I be notified if I am outbid on an item?

Yes, you will receive an email notification should you be outbid on an item. Please make sure your email address is entered correctly on your account to ensure you receive these notifications.

I placed a bid as the auction was ending, and the time was extended. How does that happen?

To prevent last-minute bid sniping, any bid placed within the final 5 minutes of an auction will automatically extend the closing time by an additional 5 minutes. This ensures all bidders have a fair opportunity to respond.

What happens when the auction ends?

Once the auction closes, the highest bidder is declared the winner and will receive a confirmation email with next steps. Payment must be completed within 48 hours of the auction’s end.

If payment is not received within that timeframe, the winning bid will be canceled. The item may then be offered to the next highest bidder, provided their bid meets the reserve price.

What happens if a winning bidder does not complete payment?

If payment is not completed within 48 hours, the order may be canceled and the item may be offered to the next highest bidder. Repeated non-payment may result in account restrictions or removal from future auctions.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept all major credit cards through the Champions Circle® NIL Shop at checkout. If special payment arrangements are requested for an auction item, please reach out to shop@championscircleuofm.com.

Full payment must be completed within 48 hours of the auction closing.

When will I receive my item?

Shipping timelines and any surcharges for shipping are listed on the auction pages. You will receive tracking information once your order has shipped.

Are auction items eligible for returns or refunds?

All auction sales are final. Returns, exchanges, or cancellations are not permitted once payment has been completed.

What time zone are auction end times listed in?

All auction times are displayed in Eastern Time (ET).

How do experience-based auction items work?

For experience-based items (e.g., sideline access, meet-and-greets), winners will receive detailed instructions via email after purchase. Scheduling, availability, and participation requirements will be outlined in the item description.

Will I be charged sales tax on my purchase?

Yes, applicable sales tax will be added to your order based on your shipping address and local tax regulations. Sales tax is calculated at checkout and is not included in your winning bid amount.
